Zamal Khan is a middle-order batting all-rounder who made his debut for the guyana Under-19 team in the 2003 TCL Group West Indies Under-19 Limited Overs Challenge competition, in Guyana. He scored his first half century in his fifth match, and another in his sixth, in Guyana. He played for the Guyana Under-19 team again in the 2004 TCL Group Challenge competition, in Jamaica, scoring 121* against Barbados.
Khan also played for the West Indies Under-19 team in the 2003 ed Stripe Bowl Regional 50-overs competition, in October 2003, in Antigua. He toured Sri Lanka with the West Indies Under-19 team in February 2004, and played for the West Indies Under-19 team in the ICC Under-19 World Cup, in Bangladesh in February and March 2004.
In 2004 Khan represented Berbice in the El Dorado Inter-county Limited Overs competition and in the Carib Inter-county Cup 4-day competition. In 2009 he played for Kings in the semi-professional Twenty20 TJT National Cricket League in the Toronto area, Canada. He returned to Guyana cricket in 2013, represent Berbice again, in the Inter-county Limited Overs competition in January 2013.
